6 Business Lessons You Can Learn from Tony Robbins

If you’ve ever attended a Tony Robbins event, then you know how the crowd gets charged right before walking on a fiery hot bed of burning coal (a metaphorical experience used to describe an unstoppable experience).

Tony Robbins inspires people from various walks of life. His seminars are full of lessons you can use to run a successful business.

With respect to this, we’ve rounded up 6 business lessons to get you inspired:

1. Focus goes where your energy is

If you pay attention to a particular thing in your life, that area of your life will grow because that’s where your energy flows. If you’re focused on adding value to your customers, you will consistently find new ways of making it a reality.

2. Focus on results rather than activity

If you’re the kind of person who writes a to-do-list and crosses tasks one by one, you may realize that this strategy isn’t fulfilling and result-oriented in the long run. Sometimes it’s just overwhelming to stick to a huge list of items representing things you expect to accomplish at the end of the day.

3. You can change your story based on the perspective in which you look at it

Everyone has a story. These stories are unconsciously told to others every other day. For instance, if you were asked to define your day, you’d have something to say, and that’s a story. And the good part is that even though you may not be able to change the events/circumstances of that story, the power to define the story is in your hands, and so is the meaning of that story.

4. Decisions shape your destiny

Rather than circumstances changing your business, it’s the decisions you make that will tell whether or not your business will be a success. You can shape the future of your business with decisions.

5. The three mandates of a leader

A successful business owner sees the situation as it is, then he sees it better than it currently is, and finally makes it the way he wants it to be.

6. Modeling the results of another successful individual

If you’re in business and facing challenges, chances are that someone else has passed through that and is successful. The worst thing you could do is failing to replicate their model. But when you learn from their mistakes, you won’t go through the trial and error phase of that business. So the road to success will be much forgiving in your case.
